Britney Spears shares truly shock milestone to social media
Britney Spears shared a personal milestone to social media, once again revealing just how much her former conservatorship cost her.
Britney Spears, 40, revealed on Thursday that she stepped foot inside a bar for the first time ever, Page Six has reported.
While sitting at the bar of a restaurant and enjoying a cocktail with her assistant, the singer recorded the milestone on her Instagram Story.
“This is my first time at a bar. First time,” Spears, who rocked big sunglasses and her signature choker, said to the camera. “I feel so fancy and I feel so sophisticated.”
“We’re having a little beverage,” her assistant, Victoria Asher, added when Spears turned the camera on her.
The Gimme More singer sarcastically captioned her videos, “So glad they took my rights away for 13 years to have a cocktail. I’m so grateful y’all.”

Throughout the years, Spears’ team and family have been adamant about keeping the mother of two away from alcohol.
Back in 2018, Page Six reported that her team had banned alcohol from being served backstage while she was on tour.
Additionally, a clause in her conservatorship – which was in place for over 13 years – stated that she could not drink.
In fact, a month ago, Spears claimed in a now-deleted Instagram post that her father, Jamie Spears, and her brother, Bryan Spears, made her take multiple drug tests a week.
She also alleged that she wasn’t allowed to have alcohol throughout her four-year Las Vegas residency from 2013 to 2017.
Britney has been enjoying life to the fullest after a Los Angeles judge agreed to terminate Spears’ conservatorship back in November.
“The court finds the conservatorship of the person and estate of Britney Spears is no longer required,” Judge Brenda Penny announced during the hearing in a Los Angeles County Superior Court, giving her control of her $60 million estate.
Since then, Britney – who recently married longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari – has been speaking out against her family on social media.
During a hearing on Wednesday, a judge ruled that Britney will not have to sit for a deposition in her conservatorship case.
