Sean Penn is dating the 24-year-old daughter of a fellow male actor

FIFTY-six-year-old Sean Penn is dating a young Aussie-born actress. Weirdly, she’s the daughter of a famous actor.

ACTOR Sean Penn is reportedly dating a much younger woman — and to make matters weirder, she’s the daughter of a fellow Hollywood actor.

Penn has been snapped getting hot and heavy on a Hawaii beach with Leila George, the 24-year-old daughter of Law and Order actor Vincent D’onofrio.

At 56 years old, Penn is just one year younger than George’s famous dad. The young actress recently shared a social media snap of herself in a recording studio with Penn:

The Sydney-born actress, 32 years Penn’s junior, is the product of Vincent D’Onofrio’s marriage to Italian Australian actress Greta Scacchi. Mother and daughter have performed alongside each other onstage, appearing together in a 2014 Perth production of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull.

The relationship follows Penn’s much-publicised partnership with fellow actor Charlize Theron, with the pair announcing their engagement in December 2014 before splitting six months later.

Penn was previously married to actor Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010, and to pop icon Madonna from 1985 to 1989.

Earlier this year, Theron revealed why she abruptly split from Penn, denying that she simply ‘ghosted’ the star.

The Oscar-winner, 40, told the Wall Street Journal magazine that there was no drama behind the breakup, which she claims was a mutual decision by the pair.

“There is a need to sensationalise things,” she told the publication. “When you leave a relationship there has to be some f***ing crazy story or some crazy drama.”

Reports surfaced in the media that Theron had simply refused to return his calls one day and started ‘ghosting him’.

“And the f***ing ghosting thing, like literally, I still don’t even know what it is. It’s just its own beast. We were in a relationship and then it didn’t work anymore. And we both decided to separate. That’s it,” she said.
