Ryan Reynolds just shared a hilarious photo of his newborn daughter
Ryan Reynolds has confirmed he and Blake Lively welcomed another girl earlier this year — complete with a hilariously edited photo.
Ryan Reynolds is known for taking dad humour to another level with his tongue-in-cheek tweeting, and his most recent post is certainly no exception.
Posting a passionate message about climate change in the lead up to the Canadian election, the Deadpool actor subtly revealed his and Blake Lively’s third baby is a girl.
But on closer inspection of the photo he shared, it’s difficult to tell to whom his new daughter bears a resemblance.

“I love B.C. I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground I grew up in,” he tweeted, “On Oct. 21, the candidate you vote for will SHAPE CLIMATE POLICY. I’m proud of the climate progress made the last 4 years.”
His political message accompanied a photo which would be providing our first glimpse of the newborn baby girl.
Only, the baby’s face was concealed with a pink blob and drawn-on smiley face.

According to Us Weekly, Lively gave birth over two months ago and the famous couple have managed to keep it a secret ever since.
While the name of the little one hasn’t yet been released, Reynolds’ tweet seemingly confirms it’s a girl.
Fans didn’t even know Lively was pregnant until she walked the red carpet for Pokemon Detective Pikachu in May with an unmissable baby bump.
Reynolds and Lively, who have been married since 2012, already have two daughters: James Reynolds, 4, and Inez Reynolds, 2.
The couple are notoriously private and earlier this year Reynolds opened up to Fatherly.com about his decision to keep his children out of the spotlight.
“We live as normal a life as we can live,” he said. “Our kids aren’t a part of Instagram or social media. I talk about them, but I never post photos of them and neither has Blake. It’s not something we would want to be a part of.
“Being in public is a choice that people should be allowed to make when they’re of age. I would never want them to resent me for that. I want them to have as normal a childhood as possible.”
Despite not sharing photos of them, Reynolds is famous for poking fun at life as a parent. After his first child was born, he told talk show host David Letterman: “I used to say to (Blake), ‘I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you.’ I would say that to my wife. And the second I looked in that baby’s eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby.”
Reynolds, whose latest movie 6 Underground will be released on Netflix on December 13, has delighted fans over the years with his hilarious tweets about fatherhood.
Here are some of his best tweets:
