RYAN Gosling and Eva Mendes have finally named their baby girl. Maybe they should have used that lag time to think through their choice.

RYAN Gosling and Eva Mendes have finally named their new daughter — Esmeralda Amada Gosling.

That’s according to the newborn girl’s birth certificate, shared by TMZ.

The baby was born on September 12 at Saint John’s Health Centre in Santa Monica, California.

Esmeralda means “emerald” in Spanish.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been dating since 2011.

Amada is the name of Mendes’ character in the 2007 flick We Own the Night, the website notes.

This is the first child for Gosling, 33, and Mendes, 40, who are famously private and kept news of the pregnancy under wraps.

The duo, who co-starred in 2012’s The Place Beyond the Pines, have dated on and off since 2011.

Mendes and Gosling reportedly welcomed their first child together on September 12.

Fatherhood appears to be agreeing with new dad Gosling.

“Ryan is madly in love with the baby,” a source told People last month.
