Ross Bagley: Kid from Independence Day, Little Rascals is all grown up

THE little kid from Independence Day is now 25 years old. You might also remember him from Little Rascals and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

THE kid from Independence Day is now 25 years old.

His name is Ross Bagley and he got his big break when he starred as Buckwheat in 1994’s Little Rascals.

He first met Will Smith when he joined the cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and for three years he played Nicky Banks on the sitcom.

In 1996 he teamed up with Will Smith again when he played his son in Independence Day.

He’s since gone onto get a uni degree in Cinema and Television Arts and says he still gets recognised by people who remember him from his childhood roles.

“I’ve been teased endlessly about Buckwheat, not so much Fresh Prince,” Bagley said in 2011.

“But I take it in stride because most of the people who might have something to say are actually fans of my work so it’s actually a compliment.

“Plus I have a pretty smart mouth so I can tag them back pretty easily if it gets too crazy.”

Bagley is now making an acting comeback and is set to appear in three films later this year.
