Robert Downey Jr to be a dad again

ROBERT Downey Jr and his wife Susan are set to become parents again with the actor confirming that they’re expecting a baby girl in November.

ROBERT Downey Jr and his wife Susan are set to become parents again with the actor confirming that they’re expecting a baby girl in November.

(They already have a two-year-old son, Exton)

“Yo. Susan. Me. Baby. Girl. November. Scorpio?” Downey tweeted.

He also made an announcement via Facebook, revealing the couple are “delighted” by the news.

“Um. I don’t know if it’s a ‘man’s world’, but I’m certain women run it. Susan and I are therefore delighted to announce we are expecting a baby. Girl. November. rdj,” he wrote.

Downey Jr and Susan Levin met on the set of Gothika in 2003, and he has long credited her with helping him kick his one-time crippling drug and alcohol addiction.

“The old saying is true - behind every good man there’s an incredible woman,” he said. “I owe a huge amount - if not all - of my success to Susan.”

The actor, of course, has another son, 20-year-old Indio, with ex-wife Deborah Falconer. Indio was arrested last month after he was allegedly found in possession of cocaine.

Downey later issued a statement, thanking the police for their intervention, while expressing the belief that his son can be a “recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale”.

“Unfortunately there’s a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it. Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we’re all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he’s capable of being,” Downey Jr said.
