Fans can’t believe the latest photo of Reese Witherspoon and her lookalike daughter Ava Phillippe — can you tell them apart?

Reese Witherspoon’s followers have been left stunned by the star’s latest festive snap featuring her mini-me daughter.

Ava Phillippe, 21, has long been a spitting image of the Big Little Lies actress, but the latest photo of the pair is something else.

Some fans are claiming magic is at play given Witherspoon, 44, looks as though she could literally be her daughter’s twin sister.

“How did she steal your entire face!?” one fan exclaimed beneath the photo of the duo in matching holiday jumpers and bright lipstick, holding mugs and smiling to the camera.

“What kind of benjamin buttons sh** is this???” another joked of Reese’s age-defying looks.

“That's your daughter? do you live in a freezer or something. you haven't aged you look like your twins she looks just like you and you look the same age (sic),” one more said, while another mused: “How is it that Reese Witherspoon’s daughter looks more Reese Witherspoon than Reese Witherspoon herself?!”

Reese had joked that she’d had to “beg” her eldest child to wear the piece from her own fashion line, Draper James.

Reese’s famous friends, including Jennifer Garner, Katie Couric and Selma Blair, also flooded the comment section with messages.

“Worth it.” wrote Garner. “Cutest,” said Blair.

“Adorable!” Couric added.

Ava — Witherspoon’s child with actor Ryan Phillippe — often confuses fans with her identical looks to her Oscar-winning mum.

In fact every time the two pose together, the twin comments arise.

Although there are plenty of comments about Reese and Ava looking like twins, people often note that the 21-year-old looks a lot like her father, Ryan Phillippe, too.

Reese and Ryan married in 1999 after first meeting at her 21st birthday in 1997. They have two children together — Ava and Deacon, who is 16.

The couple were divorced in 2007, with each later having another child with new partners.

Reese married talent agent Jim Toth in 2011 and had their son, Tennessee, in 2012, while Ryan had a daughter, Kai, with his ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp in 2011.
