Red Wiggle Simon Pryce welcomes son with Lauren Hannaford

The Wiggles star and his wife Lauren Hannaford have confirmed the birth of their first child, giving the tot an adorably unique name.

Red Wiggle Simon Pryce has welcomed his first child with wife Lauren Hannaford.

The children’s entertainer took to Instagram to share the exciting news that they had a baby boy named Asher William Pryce.

“I am so overcome with emotion and overwhelming feelings of love that it’s impossible to put in to words everything I am feeling right now,” he said.

“@lozhannaford and I are so fortunate, happy and blessed to have you in our lives.

“In an instant, I can’t imagine my life without you being here.”

Pryce’s wife also took to Instagram to share the exciting news alongside two photos.

“Asher means: Happy & Blessed... And that is exactly what we are to have you, our gorgeous boy,” she said.

“We love you endlessly and beyond comprehension already!!

“We miss you so much when you are sleeping... but at the same time just want to sit and watch you for hours while you do it.”

Simon and Lauren first met on a Wiggles tour, and were married in 2017.

The couple announced that they were expecting in September, with an Instagram post.

“Lauren and I are beyond excited and overjoyed to be expecting our first baby in early 2021,” Pryce wrote at the time.

“I already feel like I’m bursting with love.”
