POP star and British TV personality Peter Andre has become a father once more, after his girlfriend gave birth to a "beautiful baby girl".

POP star and British TV personality Peter Andre has become a father once more, after his girlfriend gave birth to a "beautiful baby girl".

The 40-year-old Australian already has two children - Junior, 8, and six-year-old Princess - from his relationship with ex-wife the model Katie Price.

Andre's 24-year-old girlfriend medical student Emily MacDonagh, who he has been dating for 18 months, gave birth to the unnamed girl at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, Somerset, in southwest England.

Andre shared the news with fans by posting a message online.

"Now that I have had the opportunity to tell Junior & Pringles, we are very happy to announce the safe arrival of our beautiful baby girl," it said.

"We are extremely thrilled and mum and bubba are doing fine. We are looking forward to a nice quiet couple of weeks getting to know our baby."

Andre, a two time winner of Britain's Celebrity Dad of the Year awards, also thanked staff at the hospital.

No names yet but Andre said he liked biblical names like Cleopatra and Alexandra.

Andre met his girlfriend through her surgeon father who operated on the popstar to remove kidney stones in 2010.

He is still a big star in Britain where he often appears in reality shows as well daytime television interior home design program Peter Andre's 60 Minute Makeover.
