Naomi Campbell, 53, secretly welcomes baby: ‘It’s never too late’

Naomi Campbell has surprised her legion of fans with the news that she’s secretly welcomed a baby boy, writing online that it’s “never too late”.

Naomi Campbell is now a mother of two.

The 53-year-old supermodel announced on Thursday that she secretly welcomed her second child, a baby boy.

“My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence,” she wrote on Instagram along with a photo of herself cradling her new bundle of joy, reports Page Six.

“A True Gift from God, blessed! Welcome Babyboy.”

Campbell added, “It’s never too late to become a mother.”

It’s unclear whether she gave birth, used a surrogate or adopted her son, whose name she did not disclose.

Friends and fans of the style icon flooded the comments section of her post to congratulate her on her new addition.

“Congratulations Omi!!,” Donatella Versace wrote.

“Congratulations … Such a beautiful blessing,” La La Anthony commented.

“OMG! Mazel Mazel Mazel!!!” DJ Samantha Ronson cheered.

Others to congratulate Campbell included actress Zoe Saldana, fellow model Claudia Schiffer and former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland.

Campbell welcomed her first child, a daughter, in May 2021.

“A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother,” she wrote at the time. “So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel.”

She added, “There is no greater love.”

She is already mother to a little girl, born in 2021.

A source told Page Six at the time that Campbell wanted to be a mother for a “long time.”

“She is the godmother to many friends and family’s kids and has always looked forward to the day of starting her own family,” the insider said.

Campbell herself told Evening Standard magazine in 2017 that she thought “about having children all the time.”

The British beauty has yet to reveal whether she gave birth to or used a surrogate for her daughter, though she did reveal last year that the youngster was not adopted.

“She’s my child,” she told British Vogue in February 2022.

Campbell mostly keeps her daughter — whose name also has yet to be revealed — out of the spotlight, but she did post a rare photo holding the toddler while celebrating New Year’s in January.
