Michael Jackson’s rarely seen son Blanket, 22, steps out to grab lunch
The 22-year-old son of one of the most famous musicians of all time has stepped out in California, marking a rare sighting.
Blanket Jackson — who now goes by Bigi Jackson — was spotted out on a solo lunch date on Thursday.
Michael Jackson’s son, 22, appeared stoic while picking up Mexican food from Sharky’s restaurant in Calabasas, California.
For the rare outing Blanket opted for casual attire, wearing a faded grey Avengers T-shirt and green athletic shorts.
The Rochelles director styled his lunch outfit with black sneakers and white crew socks.
Blanket’s brunette hair was worn parted down the middle and tucked behind his ears. He also sported facial hair.
The late pop star’s son, whose birth name was Prince Michael Jackson II, was not photographed with either of his siblings which include Paris, 26, and Prince, 27.
Michael welcomed Paris and Prince with his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, who he was married to from 1996 to 2000. The identity of Blanket’s mother remains unknown.
Blanket’s recent outing for a quick bite comes nearly three months after he was spotted running errands at his local Target.
While at the retail store, he was photographed purchasing tissues, a Minecraft game, hand sanitiser and toothpaste.
At the time, Blanket wore a similar look which featured black basketball shorts, a Star Wars T-shirt and black sneakers.
This attire seems to be Blanket’s go-to look as he was also photographed with a Star Wars shirt in March along with black shorts and similar shoes.
The Thriller hitmaker’s youngest son lives a far more private life compared to his two siblings who often share life updates on social media.
Paris recently made a splash on Instagram while modelling jewellery designs by Messika on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Prince took to Instagram on September 16 to mourn the death of his uncle, Tito Jackson, who died the day prior at the age of 70.
“Love you forever Poppa T,” the 27-year-old captioned the family group photo.
Tito’s family said that they were “shocked, saddened and heartbroken” by the late Jackson 5 founding member’s death.
Michael died aged 50 in 2009, when Blanket was just seven.
