Kourtney Kardashian addresses viral conspiracy theory her 15yo son has a secret child

Kourtney Kardashian has been forced to shut down a wild rumour that went viral over the weekend about her 15-year-old son Mason Disick.

Kourtney Kardashian has shut down a false conspiracy theory running rampant on social media that the famous family was hiding her 15-year-old son’s child.

On Monday morning Australian time, the eldest Kardashian sister explained on social media that she felt she had no choice but to directly tell the world her and ex-partner Scott Disick’s teenager, Mason Disick, had not secretly fathered a child of his own.

“I rarely address rumours of conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true,” she wrote in a statement posted on her Instagram account.

“Mason does not have a child.”

She said social media accounts pretending to be him were fake.

The false rumour gaining traction online was that Mason had fathered a one-year-old girl named Piper.

The rumour appeared to blow up when an Instagram account pretending to be Mason answered questions about “Piper”.

Kardashian’s statement continued: “My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.

“And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”

The 15-year-old does have an official Instagram account followed by his mother and other famous family members that he launched last year.

His face is hidden in three out of the five posts he has uploaded.

Kardashian and former long-term partner Scott Disick share three children Mason Disick, 15, Penelope Disick, 12, and Reign Disick, 10.

Kardashian married Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker in 2022 and the couple welcomed a baby boy, Rocky Barker, in November 2023.

Barker has two other biological children; Alabama Barker, 19, Landon Barker, 21, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25, who he raised.
