Katie Price tooks six weeks to decide on her baby daughter’s name

KATIE Price said she struggled to choose a name for her daughter, but six weeks later, she’s finally decided. And if you think it’s bad, wait until to see the ones that didn’t make the cut.

KATIE Price said she struggled to decide on a name for her newborn daughter, but six weeks later, she’s finally decided.

The long-awaited name she gave her little girl? Bunny.

Yep, as in Bugs.

The 36-year-old signed an exclusive deal with OK! magazine, posing with her daughter who was born six weeks early on the cover.

Bunny Hayler is her fifth child and her second with husband Kieran Hayler.

But if you think Bunny wasn’t a great choice, wait until you hear the other names that didn’t make the cut: Lady, Disney, Precious, Bambi and Peggy were all in the running, before the couple settled on Bunny, the magazine revealed.

Bunny is now little sister to Price’s other daughter Princess Tiaamii as well as her sons Harvey, Junior and Jett.

“We really struggled to decide on a name,” Price told OK!, “I wanted to call her Duchess Kate or just Duchess, but Kieran didn’t like that, so we’ve chosen Bunny, which we both like.

“It’s really cute, isn’t it? I considered it being spelt Bunni with a heart above the i, but I don’t think that’s really a part of the English language.

“I love Duchess Kate, though, so I’ve told Kieran that if we have another daughter that will be her name! I think it goes well with Princess. She would have been Duchess Kate of Brighton”, she added.

Price revealed just last week that she was struggling to find a name that she liked as much as her seven-year-old daughter’s.

“It’s so difficult to choose a name as I set my standards with Princess,” she wrote in her column for Now magazine.
