Gigi Hadid’s big life change since becoming a mum

The model has not yet revealed the name of her baby girl who was born on September 23. But she’s given rare glimpse of her new life as a mum.

Gigi Hadid is enjoying being a new mother.

The model, who has led a life in the spotlight, with glamourous events and some shockingly revealing outfits, has taken a more private approach to her life since becoming a mother.

The supermodel is yet to reveal the name of her baby girl, who was born on September 23, or even show her face... however she has given small glimpses of her daughter on Instagram.

Most recently, Hadid, 25, posted a photo of her cradling her daughter in an Instagram Story.

“She burps sunshine,” Hadid wrote, alongside two cheeky-faced emojis.

In the photo, the little girl is wearing tiny faded black jeggings and a white top.

Hadid was sure to leave out her face.

The star, and former One Direction singer, Zayn Malik, 27, announced the birth of their first child at the end of September.

“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” Zayn announced on Twitter on September 23 alongside a black-and-white photo of him holding her hand. “To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

Hadid shared a similar photo, writing that she was “so in love”.

The pair who have been on and off since they started dating in 2015 are definitely ‘on’ again while they raise their daughter together.

A source told Us Weekly last month the couple are now in a good place.

“Zayn and Gigi’s relationship is better than ever — their communication, the time they spend together,” the insider said. “They’ve never looked happier.”

It comes after the supermodel shared their first family photo on Halloween, with Gigi looking down lovingly while Malik cradled the baby in his arms.

In the Instagram Story, Gigi, 25, decided to cover her daughter’s face and hand with GIFs of the Hulk, to protect her privacy.

Fans also got a look at what the pair dressed up for Halloween.

Gigi dressed as Samus Aran, a video game character from Super Smash Bros, while Zayn was a Slytherin Hogwarts student, from the Harry Potter franchise.

It comes after the model expressed how grateful she was for the support of her friends and family following the birth.

Last week, Gigi posted a handwritten thank you letter to her Instagram.

“I just want to put out there … while I have the time, that when I do thank yous on here, I think of the so many generous gifts we have received that haven’t a public ‘thanks’ …” she began.

“I am overwhelmed with how many beautiful things this little one has already been spoiled with by people I love.

“If I have not posted about something, it is not from a lack of gratitude. Just a new mum trying to get it all sorted while she naps!”

The model showed off some of the incredible gifts she had so far received, including a box of goodies from Jimmy Fallon, a gold bracelet with a blue sapphire, which is her daughter’s birthstone, from friends Kendall Visser and Cully Smoller, and a snowsuit from Angela Missoni.
