With a dramatic middle part and wearing an oversized fringed coat, Kaia Gerber has continued her reign over New York Fashion Week — this time, strutting for Coach.

Gerber — the daughter of ’90s supermodel Cindy Crawford — was one of the drawcards when the brand’s creative director, Stuart Vevers, presented his autumn/winter collection at the American Stock Exchange today.

Gerber, 17, is having a busy week in the Big Apple, where she remains a model-of-the-moment and booked for a string of hot-ticket runway shows.

The American luxury brand drew a star-studded front row of Hollywood stars and “it” girls including the brand’s current face, Michael B Jordan, along with Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, Camilla Morrone (aka Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend), Chloe Grace Moretz and Dylan Sprouse.

On the runway, Coach presented psychedelic prints and fringed jackets, teamed with combat-style boots.

“I’m loving colour, light, optimism,” Vevers told British Vogue,of the collection.

He said this season was “something new” for the 78-year-old brand.

“I think it’s the way we constructed the dresses and the prints themselves that feel like a departure,” he said, according to vogue.co.uk.

“[While still] exploring the idea of American craft through the quilt, needlepoint, embroidery, lace trims and details.”

Vevers said the show’s venue — the American Stock Exchange — held particular significance.

“(It) has these massive windows where we can really let the daylight flood in; I really wanted to celebrate colour with natural daylight,” he said, according to Vogue.

“There’s a moment within the show where we play with prismatic mirrors, glittering lights and spinning sculptures to create rainbow, psychedelic lights.”

Meantime, as well as strutting for Coach, Gerber’s New York Fashion Week has also included modelling for Longchamp, Anna Sui and denim brand R13.
