Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family ‘gathering to say goodbye’

DOCTORS have reportedly told Bobby Brown to turn off Bobbi Kristina’s life support, TMZ says, as her family gathers at her bedside.

BOBBI Kristina Brown’s family is gathering at her bedside to say their final goodbyes.

TMZ is reporting that doctors have told Brown is it “time to let her go”.

But contrary to reports that Bobbi Kristina’s life support had already been turned off, a lawyer for Brown issued a statement insisting this was not the case.

“If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day,” Brown’s rep Christopher Brown said in a statement.

It had previously been reported that doctors told Brown that no more could be done to save her.

The 21-year-old was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia, home on Saturday and was put into a medically induced coma.

The My Prerogative singer was today seen at the Emory Hospital in Atlanta, where the family is holding a bedside vigil for Bobbi Kristina — on Brown’s own birthday.
It comes as reports emerge that Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheredge, is four months pregnant with his sixth child — the couple’s second, TMZ said.

People is reporting that Brown’s extended family are gathering at the hospital to farewell her.

“Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye,” a family member said.

“Bobby has been crying non-stop since yesterday. We are grieving.”

The family member continued: “If you saw her, you’d think she was just sleeping.”

A second relative said the heartbroken family remains hopeful.

“It’s sinking in that this is it, but we’re all still praying that God will intervene and heal her body,” the source said.

Earlier this week, reports emerged that Brown’s brain function was alarmingly “low” after she was placed in a medically induced coma.

“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it,” a source closely connected to the situation told FOX411.

“They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive.”

Brown was found unconscious on Saturday, just a week before the third anniversary of her 48-year-old mother’s death.

Houston, who had struggled for years with drug addiction, was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The official cause of death was accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use deemed contributing factors.
