Ashton Kutcher explains baby daughter Wyatt Isabelle’s name

ASHTON Kutcher has revealed the inspiration behind his newborn daughter’s rather unusual name and says he’s already registered her social media handles.

Ashton Kutcher has revealed he and Mila Kunis’s inspiration behind their baby girl’s name.

ASHTON Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ one month-old daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, could have been named Truck or Door.

“So we had to get the creative juices going and we were going to a Lakers game, and I got name Tourettes, and I starting listing off everything and anything: sign, truck, wall, door, and [Kunis is] like, ‘Shut up!’” Kutcher, 36, told Conan O’Brien during an appearance on his talk show on Tuesday night.

“And I’m like, ‘If you don’t accept my bad ideas, you’ll never accept the good ones.

“So I was like, ‘I got a dumb idea, what about Wyatt?’ And she’s like, ‘That’s it.’”

The Two and A Half Men star said the engaged duo had actually picked out a different baby name a few weeks before Kunis, 31, even fell pregnant, “but then when we were pregnant, the name just didn’t fit the energy that we were feeling.”

Mila and Ashton welcomed their first child, baby Wyatt Isabelle, on Wednesday October 1.

The baby girl’s middle name, Isabelle, is in honour of Kunis’ grandfather. “We gave her the name Isabelle after Mila’s grandfather, who was Yitzhak. And so it has a little heritage,” added Kutcher.

Wyatt’s tech-savvy dad has already “reserved all domain names,” plus a Twitter handle and Instagram account for his daughter.

“I don’t want a porn site with my daughter’s name,” Kutcher said with a laugh. “That’s not gonna happen! Not happening.”

Besides showing concern over Wyatt’s online wellbeing, the first-time father is hands-on with his daughter’s day-to-day life, saying he said he and his actress fiancee don’t have help.

“We’re really privileged that we have time and can afford to take time so we don’t have a nanny or a night nurse or any of this stuff,” he said. “It’s just the two of us and it’s unbelievable.”

He also dubbed himself a “baby whisperer,” getting Wyatt to calm down whenever she cries.
