“Riley was a friend, a brother, a son. Riley was both a larger than life rock star and a humble and giving friend,” the family wrote.
“He touched so many lives through his lyrics and through his huge heart. He treated everyone he met as a friend and he always took care of his friends.

Formed in 2008, Riley Gale was a member of Power Trip since the band first burst onto the scene.

Tributes for the singer have flowed on social media today, with rapper Ice-T – who had worked with Gale on one of his band Body Count’s recent tracks – telling fans he was “devastated”.
Devastated to hear about Riley Galeâs passing. Power Trip has had a massive impact on the metal community, and Rileyâs ferocious drive and passion were such a big part of why. He was a great artist, a good friend, a real one. Metal wonât be the same without him. ð
