Cindy Morgan, who gained fame in the 1980s for her legendary blonde bombshell role in the cult classic film Caddyshack, has died.

Actress Cindy Morgan, who gained fame in the 1980s for her legendary blonde bombshell role in the cult classic film Caddyshack, has died at the age of 69, officials said.

Morgan was best known for turning heads as golf club floozy Lacey Underall in the iconic 1980 comedy hit alongside legends Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield and Chevy Chase.

She also starred in the 80s sci-fi flick Tron.

A representative for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Fox News on Saturday the actress died due to natural causes.

Morgan’s roommate reportedly called police to their Lake Worth Beach home on December 30, 2023, when she returned from a holiday trip, according to TMZ.

She knocked on the door, got no response and told police she smelled a strong odour coming from inside. Police found Morgan dead in her room with no foul play suspected, TMZ reported.

In addition to playing a country club head’s flirtatious niece in Caddyshack, Morgan also played the dual roles of Dr. Lora Baines and computer program Yori in Tron beside Jeff Bridges in 1982.

Before she made it to the big screen, the Chicago native graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in communications, according to her IMDB biography.

Morgan delivered news on a local TV station in Rockford and spun records on a radio station before moving to Los Angeles where she starred in TV commercials for Irish Spring.

Caddyshack was her first screen role.

Morgan also appeared in a number of TV shows over the years, including The Love Boat, Bring ‘Em Back Alive, The Fall Guy, The Larry Sanders Shows, Under Suspicion and more.
