THE identity of the “prominent” local media personality leading a double life as a high-paid escort has been revealed.

SEVEN’S Sunday Night has been promoting an exclusive story set to air tonight on a “prominent” local media personality who will divulge her secret double life as a high-class escort, and Confidential can now reveal who she is.

The mother-of-two is a former journalist, having worked for a number of magazines and a TV network.

Ms Goff, who goes by her alter ego ‘Samantha X’, was previously a presenter on Seven’s Today Tonight current affairs program.

She has also been the beauty editor of both health magazine Prevention and InStyle magazine and had a stint as acting news editor of New Idea magazine.

In the promo for the story, which has many industry people ­intrigued, Goff tells Seven’s reporter James Thomas how those close to her react to the news of her double life.

“I volunteer at the school tuckshop and most parents know what I do,” Ms Goff said.

“I’ve had times when I have thought, ‘What am I doing?’

“I had everything — a wonderful job in the media, a wonderful husband — and it sounds wild that I gave it up to become an escort.

“I do have times when I think, ‘What the hell am I doing? Geez, look at my wrinkles, am I really going to charge $800 an hour for this?’ ”

Appearing on Seven to promote her book, Hooked — Secrets of a High-Class Escort, Ms Goff says, “You’d think for 12 hours we’d be having sex all night, but that is so far from the truth.”

Confidential found Goff’s website — which has since been deleted — that states she’s “ ... not your typical hooker. She’s the wrong side of 35, has two kids and counts dining at her local pizzeria as a wild night out.”
