Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club staff reveal what she’s like to work with

After her reputation was trashed and she was booted out of Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan’s brand new show has gone to air, and the cast have revealed what she’s like to work with.

She has long been dubbed one of the most unprofessional people in Hollywood, and now, after years under the radar, Lindsay Lohan is back.

The child star, turned teen queen, turned off-the-rails party girl has a brand new show on MTV, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, which follows her day-to-day life running a club in Greece.

The 32-year-old was practically booted out of Tinseltown after reports she rocked up on the set of her films drunk, hungover, or sometimes didn’t show up at all.

After moving to London in 2014 to start fresh, Lohan last year announced she was building her own business empire where she lives in Mykonos, Greece, which would be chronicled on a reality show.

But despite her poor reputation, Lohan’s club employees gave her a glowing rating as a boss at the show’s premiere in New York this week.

“Going into Mykonos, it was like this mental thing. Lindsay’s the celebrity, this huge figure. When I got there, she was the opposite of that,” Kyle Marve, one of the VIP hosts at the centre of the series, said.

“She was so personable. She made me feel like a part of the team instantly.”

Another employee, Jules Wilson, said: “Honestly, she’s so professional and I look up to her so much. She’s such a strong woman.”

Nina Diaz, president of programming and development for MTV, also spoke wonders of Lohan, describing her as “committed” and a “great partner”.

“Our experience from the first time we met was only how invested in the project and committed she was,” Diaz told Variety.

“She really embraced it, was invested from the start and was ready to dive in and was a great partner to work with.”

It’s a far cry from comments made about her in the past, with a former colleague from 2006 chick flick Just My Luck, telling The Times: “I’ve never seen anything like this. She is making our lives a living hell. It’s just not professional.”

The show’s creator James Serafinowicz said Lohan was treated poorly after her “meltdown”, according to Variety.

“Look at Johnny Depp. He’s in one of the biggest franchises. Think back to the days of Robert Downey Jr or other people who have had hard times,” Serafinowicz said.

“They went through those types of things and it took a while before they bounced back, but they came back with that extra level of wisdom and worldliness to bring to their roles.

“She’s only in her early 30s, so she’s got time to make that comeback.”
