Amy Schumer hits out at ‘bully’ Jenny McCarthy

SCHUMER slammed McCarthy for her nasty interview with starlet Tara Reid — and revealed she’s got more beef with the star too.

COMEDIAN Amy Schumer has hit out at Jenny McCarthy after the presenter’s recent controversial interview with actress Tara Reid.

In an ill-fated chat for The Jenny McCarthy Show last week, the host grilled Sharknado star Reid about her plastic surgery and excursions in reality television.

Reid was clearly uncomfortable, and cut the interview short — but not before McCarthy got in a few parting jabs.

“I hope your knees get a little wobblier than they already are. Love you, Tara. Good luck with Sharknado 18,” she said, laying on the sarcasm.

Tara wasn’t having it.

Jenny went in hard.

In an interview with Jim Norton, Schumer slammed McCarthy, accusing her of bullying her guest.

“I’ve never met either of them, I don’t think. But why won’t you just be nice to each other? It really seemed like she was just bullying her,” Schumer said.

“You know what it’s like, people come in and they’ll be like, ‘Hey can you not talk about this thing?’ and you’ll be like, ‘OK’ and sometimes you’ll f***k with them, but she didn’t need to do ... I don’t know. I don’t know their deal at all, but what are you doing?”

“We had Tara Reid in here and we could have gone a weird way with her because she was kind of, slightly out of it and you know ...” Norton responded.

Schumer responded: “Well you have fun and you f**k with them ... I mean [to be like], ‘You’re not walking out of here until I hurt your feelings?’ Like, just what are you doing? This past season of the TV show [Inside Amy Schumer], season three, she wasn’t really nice to my friend Rachel. So I was just like, ‘Let’s just go after Jenny McCarthy all season.’ She hates me, obviously. But just be f**king nice, really. What are you doing?

“I don’t know Jenny, I’ve never met her — I’m sure she can be charming when it behoves her. But be nice to other women, especially other women in this disgusting f**king business, that’s all I can say.”
