Carrie Bickmore’s ex Chris Walker ‘hurt’ by Tommy Little
Chris Walker’s friends have spoken out in the wake of his cryptic post amid swirling rumours about the ex-Project presenter and her radio co-host.
Carrie Bickmore’s ex-partner, Chris Walker, is reportedly feeling “hurt” by the “radio silence” he’s received from her radio co-host, Tommy Little amid their break-up
The former The Project host and Walker, who is an executive producer for ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, announced their separation in January after 10 years together.
Unfounded rumours have swirled in the weeks since that Bickmore, 42, has been growing closer to Little, 38.
On Thursday, Walker added fuel to the fire by posting – and later deleting – a bizarre photo of the trio on Instagram, taken as part of a 2018 radio promotional shoot, which showed Walker caressing a then-pregnant Bickmore with Little standing behind them as a third wheel figure.
He didn’t add a caption to the post.
The Herald Sun reports that while the TV producer doesn’t believe the rumours about Bickmore and Little, it’s been “hurtful” that his ex has not publicly denied them.
The publication added that sources close to Walker have suggested the cryptic Instagram post was the result of an “ill-advised joke”.
According to the Herald Sun, he’s been “struggling to come to terms with no longer seeing his children every day” amid the separation.
Walker and Bickmore met on the set of The Project in 2012, two years after Lange died of brain cancer.
He became a stepfather to Bickmore and Lange’s son, Ollie, and in 2015, the couple welcomed their first child together – a daughter Evie. Three years later, they became parents once more with the arrival of another girl, Adelaide, in late 2018.
Meanwhile, it’s been a period of change recently for Bickmore, who quit The Project in November before re-signing with the Hit Network alongside Little for another four years.
And in January, Walker and Bickmore took to Instagram to announce their shock split.
