Cara Delevingne: I was told to take my underwear off during ‘masturbation seminar’
“This is the lube”: Cara Delevingne has lifted the lid on her wild experience at a masturbation seminar in her new docuseries.
Outrageous demands for an upcoming docuseries made Cara Delevingne realise that she is more of “a prude” than she thought.
The model has revealed that she was told to take her “underwear off” while filming a “masturbation seminar” for Hulu’s Planet Sex, reports theNew York Post.
“I went [in] … thinking it was going to be a classroom and I’d have a notepad, and instead it was a pink, leather gym mat on the floor, with six people going, ‘Well, take your underwear off. This is the lube,’” Delevingne, 30, said at MIPCOM 2022 (via Variety) in Cannes, France, where she hit her first red carpet in weeks following a string of concerning public outings.
“I didn’t realise I was a prude,” she continued. “I think I’m a pretty hip, young, cool, down-with-anything kind of girl, but I was like, ‘Sorry, what? Sorry, no, absolutely not, I will not do that.’”
The Paper Towns star shared that she only took part in what she “felt comfortable doing”.
Delevingne – who reportedly calls herself “100 per cent queer” in Planet Sex – noted that she did initially have “reservations” filming the show, which premieres on November 29 in the US, with no release date set for Australia as yet.
“Every day was completely different,” she said. “I’m used to being a chameleon, but this was absurd.
“One day you’re going to get your blood taken while having an orgasm, the next day you’re going to a porn library. I was like, ‘Right, OK, screw my head back on.’”
The British fashion icon’s time promoting the docuseries in the south of France comes on the heels of a series of alarming outings.
Last month, a dishevelled-looking Delevingne displayed erratic behaviour at California’s Van Nuys Airport, where she was snapped with her shoeless feet dangling from the window of an SUV.
Delevingne was also seen chain-smoking while pacing around the tarmac as well as dropping her phone several times.
Her Suicide Squad co-star and close friend Margot Robbie was photographed days later looking distraught after leaving Delevingne’s West Hollywood home.
Sources told TMZ in September that Delevingne’s loved ones – including Robbie – were worried that she is struggling with a combination of mental health and substance abuse issues.
While Delevingne has not addressed speculation that she is battling addiction, she spoke to Teen Vogue in 2015 about dabbling with drugs as “a kid” before getting a “reminder that no one is invincible”.
At the time, Delevingne said: “I’m so far away from drugs that I couldn’t possibly be further way, and whatever happened in the past is in the past. It just doesn’t exist anymore.”
