Caitlyn Jenner ‘shocked’ by brutal Kardashian snub

Caitlyn Jenner is “shocked” by the latest very public snub from her family, as relations between she and the Kardashians worsen.

Caitlyn Jenner is “shocked” not to have been invited to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Italian wedding last weekend.

The 72-year-old reality star and former Olympian, who was married to Kris Jenner for 22 years, helped raise Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, whom Kris had with her first husband, the late Robert Kardashian.

Caitlyn also shares Kendall Jenner, 26, and Kylie Jenner, 24, with Kris.

“She is shocked,” a source on Caitlyn’s team tells Page Six of being snubbed by her stepdaughter.

Caitlyn was not invited to the festivities in Portofino last weekend, with a source telling TMZ that there are no hard feelings on Kourtney’s end and that Jenner “simply didn’t make the cut.”

It’s not the first time Caitlyn has been snubbed by the family. She was also not offered a contract to participate in their newest Hulu show.

Kourtney and Travis’ wedding was a lavish affair – but there was no room for Caitlyn on the guest list.

Caitlyn tweeted at the time, “Of course no bad blood. I love my family and am thrilled for the show continuing. But I was shocked to learn through the press that I was explicitly excluded from the new show.”

She added that after 20 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, “It is unfortunate to not be given the opportunity to continue with the show. With that said, I cannot emphasise enough how happy I am for my family that it continues!”

During a press tour for her book Secrets of My Life in 2017, Jenner revealed that she was no longer close with the Kardashians.

The wedding took place at a castle in Portofino, Italy.

“I don’t talk to them anymore,” she said. “Kim and I haven’t talked in a year. They don’t want me in their lives, they bashed me pretty badly. It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt. I don’t know what the future holds. We will see.”

In November 2021, Jenner said her relationship with Kris “is not as good as it should be,” and “I wish it was closer.”

But by April of this year, it seems the family was closer together.

“We’re fine,” Kris said during an ABC News special. “We’re friends. I see [Caitlyn] when she’s at a family thing. It’s settled down a lot.”

Caitlyn, who transitioned in 2015, also stated things were in a better place on a recent episode of the Full Send podcast.

“My relationship with the family is, you know, fine,” she said. “I mean, we do things together, my kids, this and that … Obviously, Kendall and Kylie, my flesh and blood, I’m very close to them. On the Kardashian side, I see them here and there, but I’m not really close. Kim is probably the closest.”
