Britney Spears has declared she is seeking justice for how she was treated under her conservatorship, pinpointing alleged actions by her dad.

Britney Spears lands $15 million tell-all book deal

It appears Britney Spears may be launching a legal battle against her family.

The superstar took to Instagram on Monday to declare she is seeking justice and won’t stop until “something is done” to those who “harmed” her while she was under a conservatorship for 13 years.

The 40-year-old, who was released from the restrictive conservatorship in November last year, said while it was “huge deal”, it wasn’t enough because “they all got away with it”.

Spears detailed her alleged treatment for a specific four months, calling out her father Jamie Spears, who had been at the core of the conservatorship until late September last year.

She said she was made to work seven days a week 8am to 6pm with no days off, was not allowed private baths, was seen naked while changing, drugged and had a 9pm bed time.

“This happened to me for 4 months after I worked for my dad and my family for 13 f***ing years,” she wrote.

“I gave my all when I worked only to be literally thrown away.

“I was nothing more than a puppet to my family yet to the public I just performed on stage and did what I was told to do … but it was worse than that because it was accepted and approved by the people I loved the most.”

She added: “I was treated less than, demoralised and embarrassed … nobody should ever be treated the way I was.”

Spears explained the reason she was sharing her account was because ending the conservatorship was not enough.

“I’m not done … I want justice and won’t stop until something is done to those who harmed me … and YES I was harmed !!!! This is a message to all who have been threatened for their life … You are NOT ALONE !!!!”

The four specific months Spears may have been referring to was during her 2018 Piece of Me tour.

In a jaw-dropping speech in court in June last year, Spears said she was forced to do her tour in 2018 after a four-year Las Vegas residency.

“I haven’t been back to court in a long time, because I don’t think I was heard on any level when I came to court the last time,” she told the judge.

“Well, when I came to court, the last time I brought four sheets of paper in my hands and wrote in length, what I had been through the last four months before I came there.

“The people who did that to me should not be able to walk away so easily. I’ll recap. I was on tour in 2018. I was forced to do. My management said if I don’t do this tour, I will have to find an attorney, and by contract, my own management could sue me if I didn’t follow through with the tour.”
