SELENA Gomez is nursing the breakup blues Down Under.

Over the weekend, the newly single singer relaxed on a yacht with friends on Sydney Harbour, shortly after she and on-again boyfriend Justin Bieber pulled the plug on their rekindled relationship.

Clad in an orange bikini top and black bottoms, Gomez, 25, read a book as she sunned herself aboard the luxury vessel, having jetted in to Australia late last week.

Following her breakup with 28-year-old Canadian singer The Weeknd last year, the Bad Liar singer soon reconciled with former love Bieber, 24. Despite giving their romance another go, the young couple faced obstacles, partly from Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey, who told Gossip Cop she was “not happy” about the on again-off again reunion. But in a motherly fashion, Teefey reportedly told the site: “Selena can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy.

“Selena is an adult and can make her own choices. She is 25 years old and knows what is at stake with her health,” Teefey added. Gomez underwent a kidney transplant in September to treat her lupus.

An insider revealed trust issues were to blame for Gomez and Bieber’s latest split.

“They’re supposedly taking a break. She has trust issues. He has trust issues. There’s a lot going on there. They do this all the time. They get into arguments,” a source told Page Six last week. “They’re not talking. It’s hard to keep up with those two!”
