Armie Hammer was “still in treatment for drug, alcohol and sex addiction six months after he checked in,” following assault and cannibal sex claims.

Hammer, 35, has reportedly been “thriving” at the treatment centre in Florida, according to TMZ.

Sources have told the site that The Social Network star does not want to relapse from his alleged addictions.

Hammer has been in contact with his children Harper, 6, and Ford, 4, and has FaceTimed with them.

The movie star – who was replaced by actor Noah Reid in the Broadway production of The Minutes – has reportedly been sharing his progress with his loved ones as well.

No date has been issued for the movie star as to when he might complete his treatment.

Hammer reportedly checked himself into the rehab centre back in May.

For many months, actor was hit with accusations of abuse by a number of ex-girlfriends, and disturbing messages, which were leaked on social media.

He allegedly spoke about drinking a woman’s blood, described scenes of sexual control, and referenced cannibalism and rape fantasies.

One message said he allegedly claimed he was “100 per cent a cannibal” and claimed to have told a woman: “I want to eat you.”

Hammer was also investigated by police in Los Angeles after a former lover, only identified as Effie, claimed he had “mentally, emotionally and sexually” abused her during their four-year relationship.

Effie was previously introduced during a press conference by LA lawyer Gloria Allred in March.

Back in 2017, Effie alleged that she was violently raped when the actor slammed her head against a wall.

She also alleged that he whipped her feet with a crop, which would hurt for days.

The Sun understands Effie has yet to file any civil claim amid the ongoing police investigation.

Hammer’s lawyer released a statement: “These assertions about Mr. Hammer are patently untrue. Any interactions with this person, or any partner of his, were completely consensual in that they were fully discussed, agreed upon and mutually participatory.”

Back in September, The Sun revealed that the Rebecca star had been dating dental hygienist Lisa Perejma.

Sources told The Sun that Lisa has been waiting for his return from rehab.

One insider said: “They are still together. She has been around the island recently and I believe she’s planning to see him when he leaves rehab. She’s been a big support for him.

“They have a strong bond and a lot of mutual friends. She’s glad he’s getting the help he urgently needs for the sake of his children and his future.”

Back in July 2020, Hammer and his wife Elizabeth Chambers announced they were splitting up but their divorce has not been finalised.
