A woman named Effie has accused Armie Hammer of “violently” raping her – a claim he denies.

Effie, who didn’t reveal her last name, appeared at a press conference alongside lawyer Gloria Allred and alleged, while sobbing, that the Call Me By Your Name star raped her on April 24, 2017 when she was 20 years old.

She also claimed he abused her “mentally, emotionally and sexually” throughout the course of their relationship.

“He became increasingly more violent,” a crying Effie claimed. “I thought he was going to kill me.”

The alleged rape, in which she claims Hammer “repeatedly slammed” her “face against the wall,” left Effie bruised.

Effie, now 24, said she and Hammer first met on Facebook in 2016 and had an on-again, off-again connection for four years. The alleged increasing abuse caused her to consider suicide.

“I lost interest in living,” she shared. “I just wanted the pain to stop.”

When asked if Effie was behind the social media account House of Effie, which first leaked DMs alleged to be from Hammer and described fantasies of rape and cannibalism, Allred said she had “no comment”.

Hammer’s lawyer denied all of Effie’s claims in a statement to Page Six following the press conference.

“(Effie’s) own correspondence with Mr Hammer undermines and refutes her outrageous allegations. As recently as July 18, 2020, (Effie) sent graphic texts to Mr Hammer telling him what she wanted him to do to her,” the statement read. “Mr Hammer responded making it clear that he did not want to maintain that type of relationship with her.

“It was never Mr Hammer’s intention to embarrass or expose (Effie’s) fetishes or kinky sexual desires, but she has now escalated this matter to another level by hiring a civil lawyer to host a public press conference,” the statement continued. “With the truth on his side, Mr Hammer welcomes the opportunity to set the record straight.

“From day one, Mr Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions with (Effie) – and every other sexual partner of his for that matter – have been completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory. (Effie’s) attention seeking and ill-advised legal bid will only make it more difficult for real victims of sexual violence to get the justice they deserve.”

Effie is the latest accuser to come forward against The Social Network actor. Hammer’s ex Courtney Vucekovich previously told Page Six that he wanted to “barbecue and eat” her and also alleged he was emotionally abusive.

“He quickly grooms you in the relationship,” she said. “He kind of captivates you and while being charming, he’s grooming you for these things that are darker and heavier and consuming. When I say consuming, I mean mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, just everything.”

Another of Hammer’s exes Paige Lorenze claimed to us that he used a knife to carve the letter “A” into her skin near her vagina and would allegedly intentionally bruise her as a branding method.

“He wanted me to show them off and be proud of them,” Lorenze told us. “I said, ‘How am I supposed to see other people when I have bruises?’ He said, ‘That’s the point.’ I think it was a part of marking and branding.”

Hammer has been hiding out in the Cayman Islands where estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers and their two children live.
