Armie Hammer claims he’s being ‘kink shamed’ amid cannibalism fetish scandal

As multiple women came forward with disturbing claims about his violent fantasies and fetishes last month, actor Armie Hammer messaged a friend to complain.

Armie Hammer: Allegations of cannibalism, assault and abuse

Texts allegedly showing disgraced actor Armie Hammer complaining to a friend that he’s being “kink shamed by the internet” have emerged amid claims from several women about his violent rape and cannibalism fantasies.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the day after anonymous Instagram account HouseOfEffie first began outing the Hollywood star via disturbing texts allegedly from the star and stories from former girlfriends who felt pressured to indulge his fantasies, Hammer messaged a friend for sympathy.

In a number of graphic texts exposed by the publication, he said it was “invasive and sh*tty to get kink shamed by the internet”.

He also boasted that he had received “a lot of offers from girls who said I can eat pieces of them” following the headlines.

According to the woman, who told the Daily Mail she had been sexting Hammer for six weeks before the scandal unfolded, Hammer had sent similar messages detailing his aggressive sexual fantasies and calling her his “perfect little wh**e”.

In messages regarding the leaked texts, he said: “I feel a bit overwhelmed to be honest. It’s very invasive and shi*tty to get kink shamed by the internet ha.”

Further messages read: “I am happy. Life is good. This is just a hard moment. I am very happy. And very zen. Learning through every struggle and being grateful for it all.”

In another, according to the publication, he went on to claim the public airing of his cannibalism fantasies had worked in his favour.

“I’ve gotten a lot of offers from girls who said I can eat pieces of them haha,” he allegedly wrote.

The woman told the Daily Mail she had not spoken to him since the story broke in January.

“I started messaging him early to mid December. He was very responsive. It was from his official verified Instagram account,” she said.

“By the end of that day he was really interested in sexting and he was sending voice messages.

“On the day that this account, HouseOfEffie, started to blow up, my friend texted me saying ‘Did you see how all of Twitter is talking about how Armie Hammer is a cannibal?’”

She said this was when she blocked the Call Me By Your Name actor.

WHEN THE ALLEGATIONS FIRST SURFACED

In early January various unverified Instagram messages that appeared to be written by Hammer circulated online.

The graphic messages include fantasies about rape, cannibalism and BDSM.

“I need to drink your blood. Why the distance?” Hammer allegedly wrote in one shared DM.

Another saw the star allegedly write, “I’ve cut the heart out of a living animal before and eaten it while still warm.”

Other messages show Hammer allegedly claim he’s “100 per cent a cannibal … I want to eat you. That’s so scary to admit. I’ve never admitted that before”.

“You just live to obey me and be my slave,” another message allegedly sent from Hammer’s account reads. “I will own you. That’s my soul. My brain. My spirit. My body. Would you come and be my property till you die? If I wanted to cut off one of your toes and keep it with me in my pocket so I always had a piece of you in my possession?”

In a statement published by Variety, Hammer, 34, called the claims against him “bullsh*t” and announced that he was now dropping out of his current movie project.

“I’m not responding to these bullsh*t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that,” he said.

The film Hammer dropped out of, Shotgun Wedding, would have seen him star alongside Jennifer Lopez.

MORE WOMEN COME FORWARD

App founder Courtney Vucekovich claimed Hammer told her “he wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it”, and model Paige Lorenze claimed he kept mannequins in the basement of his family home to learn to tie up women and talked about wanting to strangle his dog.

Lorenze, 23, was involved with Hammer for a few months late last year before ending the relationship because she felt “unsafe”.

The model claimed that during their fling, Hammer carved the letter ‘A’ into her body with a knife. She also said he asked her on multiple occasions to get ribs removed so he could smoke them and eat them.

A lawyer for the star has denied all of Lorenze’s claims, telling The Sun: “These assertions about Mr Hammer are patently untrue. Any interactions with this person, or any partner of his, were completely consensual in that they were fully discussed, agreed upon and mutually participatory.

“The stories being perpetuated in the media are a misguided attempt to present a one-sided narrative with the goal of tarnishing Mr Hammer’s reputation, and communications from the individuals involved prove that.”

RESPONSE FROM EX-WIFE

Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers released her first detailed public statement amid the scandal in late January.

In a post to her Instagram account, Chambers said she was “shocked, heartbroken, and devastated” by the multiple allegations against her former husband of 10 years.

“For weeks, I’ve been trying to process everything that has transpired. I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated. Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn’t realise how much I didn’t know,” Chambers wrote.

“I support any victim of assault or abuse and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal.

“At this time, I will not be commenting further on this matter.

“My sole focus and attention will continue to be on our children, on my work and on healing during this incredibly difficult time.”

Hammer is currently based in the Cayman Islands, where his two children, Harper, 6, and Ford, 3, have been living with Chambers since the start of the pandemic. He’s been fighting for joint custody of the children in the couple’s divorce proceedings.
