Ariel Winter hits back at nasty rumour about her personal life

The former Modern Family actress is loved-up with her long-term partner – and she’s not afraid to hit back at those who question her.

Ariel Winter clapped back at rumours that her boyfriend, Luke Benward, is “controlling”.

The former Modern Family star shared a TikTok video showing her and Benward, acting as her sous chef, making stuffed peppers. While some followers commented on the recipe, others speculated about the health of the pair’s romance.

After one follower wrote, “She’s so lucky,” another TikToker mentioned that there have been “so many rumours about him controlling her”.

Winter, 26, caught the commentary and wrote back, “Guys please help he’s forcing me on onlyfans so he can be my manager and he doesn’t let me out of the house!!!! SOS!!!!

Winter’s pivoted to being a social media chef recently.

She’s clearing up nasty rumours about her relationship. .

Jokes aside, Winter added that her fans shouldn’t “believe everything” they see on TikTok, “especially rumours like that”.

“️He’s a great man, and if he wasn’t, the dogs would take his ass outside,” she added.

When the user apologised for spreading the false rumours, Winter let bygones be bygones.

“It’s totally okay!” she wrote. “Those clickbait type things are so easy to fall into when really, most of them are just people looking to get views anyway they can.”

Winter and Benward, 28, have been dating since December 2019 when they were first spotted looking cozy on a date night.

Winter says her partner is a “great man.”

Nearly two years into their extremely private relationship, Winter finally shed some light on “beautiful” love.

“He’s amazing. He is definitely my safe space,” she told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021. “We’ve been able to grow together and not just be in a relationship, but we’re partners in business. We’re partners. He’s my best friend.

“He’s my boyfriend,” she continued, “so it’s really beautiful to be able to get to that place with somebody and to have the friendship foundation first and then to be able to grow into everything, is really, really beautiful.”
