Amber Heard reveals salacious details of her whirlwind romance with Johnny Depp

Amber Heard has revealed salacious details of her secretive and whirlwind romance with Johnny Depp, who was twice her age when they met.

Amber Heard has recounted how she fell in love with Johnny Depp after taking the stand for the first time in the $50 million defamation trial on Thursday (AEST).

Heard told the jury about meeting Johnny Depp for the first time while auditioning in 2008 for “The Rum Diary,” which he was starring in and producing.

“It was weird because he was twice my age and this world-famous actor,” said Heard, who was only 22 and described herself as a “no-name actor” at the time.

Depp told her personally she got the role, calling her and saying, “You’re it, kid, you’re the dream.”

The two played romantic interests, and when they had a kissing scene, the “lines got blurred,” she said.

“It didn’t feel like a normal scene anymore … it felt more real,” Heard told the jury. “He grabbed my face and pulled me into him and really kissed me.”

Asked by her lawyer if Depp used tongue, Heard replied, “Yes,” with a smile.

Heard turned 23 while filming the movie, and Depp gifted her a vintage bicycle, she said.

Heard told the jury about a moment while filming “The Rum Diary” when Depp lifted the back of her bathrobe up with his foot and said “yum.”

“He kind of picked up the back of my robe with his boot and I kind of turned around and giggled … He kind of playfully pushed me down on this sofa. Playful and flirtatious.

“And he said, ‘yum.’ And kind of lifted his eyebrows up like that.”

Both had feelings for one another even though they were in relationships at the time, Heard testified.

After filming wrapped, Heard says Depp sent her several gifts. The two reunited on the press tour for the movie in 2011.

Heard fought back tears as she told the jury about falling in love with Depp as they promoted the film.

Being with Depp “felt like absolute magic,” she said, describing the whirlwind romance.

“I felt like this man knew me, saw me, in a way so one else had.

“When I was around Johnny, I felt like the best beautiful person in the world,” she added, appearing to choke back tears.

“It made me feel seen. It made me feel like a million dollars.”

The two were “secretly dating,” since it hadn’t yet been made public that Depp had split from his former partner, Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children.

“We were in a bubble of secrecy,” Heard said.

Heard testified that she grew up outside of Austin, Texas, in a small town nobody has ever heard of.

The actress, 36, said she was raised by her mother and father, and grew up with an older and younger sister.

She testified her father “broke horses” and did construction. Her mum worked for the state.

Heard said she attended a private school until she left school at age 16.

“I grew up quite working-class. And thankfully, as long as I maintained an A average, I enjoyed the benefit of a scholarship,” Heard said.

Heard opened her testimony by telling the jury the trial was “the most painful thing” she had ever gone through.

“I am here because my ex-husband is suing me,” Heard said, referring to Depp, whom she had to pass to get into the witness box.

“I struggle to find the words to describe how painful this is. This is horrible for me to sit here, for weeks and relive everything,” she told the jury, getting emotional in just her first minute of testimony.

“This is the most painful and difficult thing I’ve ever gone through,” she said.

The trial continues.
