Amber Heard pressed on claims Johnny Depp broke her nose after 2014 Met Gala
Lawyers have grilled Amber Heard on a significant image taken after the 2014 Met Gala, following her shocking allegation about Johnny Depp.
Amber Heard has been pressed on her claims that Johnny Depp may have broken her nose after the Met Gala in 2014 – with the actor’s lawyers citing photos that show her without injuries in court.
“For the record, I don’t know that it was broken,” Heard testified under cross-examination by Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez on Monday. “You should have seen how it looked under makeup.”
But Vasquez asked why Heard has not produced photos of herself from the night after – attending Spike TV’s “Don Rickles: One Night Only” with Depp – for the jury, noting the alleged injuries aren’t seen in the pictures.
“I would very much like to,” Heard answered. “It’s not my job.”
Vasquez then entered the photos into evidence.

“Your nose doesn’t appear to be injured in any of these pictures?” the lawyer asked.
“I’m wearing makeup and makeup covers up swelling, right?” Heard answered.
The case between the two actors, which is being heard at Fairfax County Court House in Virginia near Washington DC, reconvened on Monday after a week-long hiatus.
‘I just wanted him to leave me alone,’ Heard says about Depp
During her time on the stand, Heard testified that she wants to leave her very public feud with ex-husband in the past, calling the experience “deeply humiliating.”
“I have my worst, most painful things I’ve gone through, painful memories, things I’ve narrowly survived,” the actress testified. “It’s torture. I am in so much pain emotionally.
“I just wanted him to leave me alone,” she said. “I wanted to move on with my life and he won’t let me by making statements like this. He won’t let me.
“I wanna move on with my life. I have a baby. I want to move on,” Heard added. “I want Johnny to move on too. I want him to leave me alone.”
Heard is being sued by Depp for $US50million ($A67m) for implying he abused her in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. Although she did not name him, he claims her allegations are false and cost him lucrative movie roles. Heard is countersuing for $US100 million (A$134m), claiming she suffered “rampant physical violence and abuse” at his hands
The Pirates of the Caribbean star denies Heard’s claims.
Heard testifies her scenes were cut in Aquaman 2
Heard also said word of the troubles between her and Depp damaged her career.
After making $US1 million (A$1.43m) on 2018’s Aquaman, Heard said, she was contracted to receive $US2 million (A$2.87m) for the sequel.
But the actress said many of her scenes were cut out of the second instalment, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is set to come out next year.
“I was given a script, then given new versions of the script that had taken away scenes that had action in it and depicted my character and another fighting,” she said.
It’s been reported that Heard, who plays Mera in the DC flick alongside Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, will have less than 10 minutes of screen time in the sequel.
Heard testified that her most recent role is in a small independent film that paid her $US65,000 (A$52,300).
