Amber Heard exposes sick secrets of Aussie trip with Johnny Depp
Amber Heard has given graphic detail about what she says was going on behind closed doors during her stay in Australia with Johnny Depp.
Amber Heard has taken the stand for a second day in the defamation case filed against her by her by ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Heard is being sued by Depp for US$50m (A$70m) for implying he abused her in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. Although she did not name him, he claims her allegations cost him lucrative movie roles.
Earlier, Heard detailed acts of violence she allegedly suffered at Depp’s hands and claimed he warned her the “only way out is death”, as she continues her bombshell testimony against the Hollywood actor.
Then her attention turned to the couple’s ill-fated 2015 trip to Australia, as she made shocking allegations about what was going on behind closed doors during their stay in this country.
Depp ‘was bashing me against the wall’ in Australia
Depp and Heard’s infamous and ill-fated 2015 trip to Australia — during which the actor lost the tip of a finger — was violent from the start, Heard told the jury.
At one point during their stay, Depp started shoving “me up against the fridge, has me up against the throat, bashing me against the wall, the fridge,” the actress testified.
“I don’t remember the exact sequence of things, I wish I did,” she said. “When he shoved me, I went skidding across the floors … I just slid, breaching my skin against this beautiful wooden floor.”
Heard said after the fight, she ultimately barricaded herself in a room in the rented house Down Under and had to take a sleeping pill to fall asleep.
When she woke up, she realised Depp never went to sleep after the fight and allegedly took eight to 10 pills of MDMA.
There was also “a lot of name-calling,” Heard said, alleging Depp called her “whore, slut, fat-ass.”
‘I didn’t know if the bottle inside me was broken’
Heard broke down into heaving sobs on the stand as she recalled Depp brutally attacking her and inserting a bottle inside her during a trip to Australia in March 2015.
“I didn’t know if the bottle he had inside me was broken,” she said, breathing heavily as she held back tears. “I couldn’t feel it. I couldn’t feel anything.”
Before the assault, Depp had held up a broken bottle to Heard’s face and threatened to cut her with it, she testified.
“My nightgown came completely off, it was ripped off of me,” Heard said through tears, adding that the actor was punching the wall next to her head.
“I was naked, slipping around on this tile” on the floor, she continued. “He’s screaming at me and saying I ruined his life.”
“’I f**king hate you. You ruined my f**king life,’” Depp screamed while he smashed a phone “to smithereens,” Heard testified.
“I’m looking in his eyes, I don’t see him anymore,” she said, starting to sob. “It wasn’t him. It was black. I’ve never been so scared in my life. I was trying to get through to Johnny and I couldn’t see him at all.”
“I’m sorry,” Heard said, seeming to address the court while breathing rapidly.
‘I figured out he was missing a finger’
Heard woke up after Depp allegedly assaulted her with a liquor bottle — and found him with his finger severed, she testified.
“I figured out he was missing a finger,” she said, describing a trashed house they were renting in Australia with writing in dried blood on the walls, along with blue paint.
Heard said she couldn’t decipher what the message Depp wrote in blood was, but it was clear it was for her.
Depp started laughing during Heard’s testimony, when she went on to say that “he took his penis out of his pants” and tried to urinate in the aftermath of the incident.
Depp ‘ran out of blood’ writing messages on walls
Depp wrote so many messages with the blood spewing from his severed fingered that “It looked like he had run out of blood,” Heard testified.
“He wrote on the back of a pillow with blood,” she said, noticing the brown colour of dried blood, along with writing on the mirrors and walls.
When he ran out of blood, it looked like he got paint, she said.
She also testified that there was food around the entire home the couple rented in Australia, including pieces of steak in her clothes.
Heard describes being abused with bottle
“I can’t believe I have to,” Heard said on the stand when her lawyer Elaine Bredehoft asked if Depp penetrated her vagina with a liquor bottle all the way to her pubic bone.
“I’m so sorry,” Bredehoft said.
Heard said Depp shoved the bottle inside her over and over again, and testified she was bleeding from her vagina in the aftermath of the alleged incident in Australia in 2015.
Australian house was allegedly trashed after assault
Heard was shown photos of the house she and Depp rented while in Australia — which he allegedly trashed during a drunken rampage where he also assaulted her.
One image showed an area of the bar where Heard said Depp had grabbed her by the throat and started “bashing me against the wall.”
Another photo showed an area with a broken window. Heard also said that Depp smashed her phone to bits, which is how she believes he severed his finger.
After the attack, she said, Depp was holed up in another part of the home blaring Marilyn Manson music.
