Amanda Bynes was placed on a psychiatric hold early Sunday after being found roaming the streets of Los Angeles naked.

An eyewitness told TMZ on Monday that the former Disney star, who has bipolar disorder, flagged down a car without any clothes on and told the driver she was coming down from a psychiatric episode.

Bynes, 36, then called 911 on herself and was taken to a nearby police station, where a mental health expert determined she needed to be placed on a 5150 hold, according to the outlet.

The troubled star reportedly remains in a mental health facility’s care. A 5150 hold typically lasts 72 hours but can be extended based on a patient’s need.

She had been set to attend ’90s Con in Connecticut with her former All That co-stars on Saturday but cancelled due to an undisclosed illness.

Bynes’ lawyer didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment, but her ex-fiancé Paul Michael tells Page Six exclusively that the Nickelodeon alum has been “off her meds”.

Bynes’ psychiatric episode happened nearly one year to the day after she was freed from an eight-year conservatorship.

She spoke out at the time to thank fans for their “love and support” in a brief Instagram video recorded in anticipation of her court hearing, during which a judge ultimately decided the legal arrangement was “no longer required”.

Bynes’ parents, Rick Bynes and Lynn Bynes, supported her push for freedom.

Lynn served as Amanda’s conservator, while Rick was considered an interested party in the case.

After the conservatorship’s termination, Bynes’ lawyer shared that the former child star, who has also struggled with substance abuse, was “doing very well” and looking forward to moving in with Michael.

However, she and Michael ended their engagement in July 2022, just months after she publicly accused him of watching “mum-and-son porn” and using crack cocaine.

Bynes later clarified that she had actually caught Michael watching “MILF” porn but insisted he relapsed in his drug use despite revealing a clean test.

After the break-up, the retired actress decided to enrol in cosmetology school to become a manicurist. She’s since shared various snaps of her in-progress nails as well as photos of her classroom, which resembled a nail salon.

Bynes graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in LA in June 2019 and also has expressed an interest in developing fragrances.

Bynes is known for her work in television and film throughout the 1990s and 2000s. After working on All That, she starred in The Amanda Show. She also appeared in a number of films including Big Fat Liar, What a Girl Wants and She’s the Man.
