Alec Baldwin say he and wife Hilaria didn’t plan on having three children in three years

ALEC Baldwin and wife Hilaria stunned fans on Wednesday, when Hilaria announced she is pregnant with baby number three.

ALEC Baldwin and his wife Hilaria had no intention of becoming parents to three children within three years.

The couple stunned fans on Wednesday, when Hilaria announced she is pregnant with baby number three.

The parents-to-be have since confessed they didn’t plan on welcoming another baby quite so soon after the birth of their son, Rafael Thomas, who is only eight-months-old.

“We wanted to have another one, maybe not so soon, we thought about taking a year or two off,” Alec laughed to US show Extra.
They also have two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Carmen Gabriela, and Hilaria admits each conception caught them a little off guard. “I feel like all of our children were semi-surprises, in a good way, good surprise, positive surprises,” she added.

The Baldwins, who wed in 2012, have already revealed they are adding another boy to the brood, but even that was unexpected due to the severity of Hilaria’s nausea.

“I’ve been pretty nauseous,” she explained, “so I was surprised it was a boy because I felt really nauseous with Carmen and less nauseous with him (Rafael).”

The thought of having two toddlers running around is already making the busy mum “slightly afraid”, but Alec has assured her their third child will be their last.

“They come when they come, but this is it, we’re going to have one more than we’re going to enjoy them, all three of them,” he said. “We have a lot of things we want to do to enjoy our life; we want to travel and we’re both working a lot, but I like doing this, I like having kids. I just can’t describe what it means to me.” Spanish-born yoga instructor Hilaria isn’t due until September, but they already have a name in mind, even though it took a little negotiating.

“We think we know (the name), however, I’m not going to share it with you,” she smiled. “(Alec) likes names like Joe and Tony, I like names like Sebastian and Orlando and Carmen and Rafa. I don’t think I can have a Tony Baldwin.” Alec, 57, is also a father to 20-year-old daughter Ireland, from his first marriage to actress Kim Basinger.
