Actor Corey Feldman says pedophilia is the ‘number one secret’ in Hollywood
COREY Feldman is on a mission to expose how child molestation is an “epidemic” plaguing Hollywood, and he has a warning for parents.
HE’S on a mission to expose the alleged child molesters he says are the secret scourge of Hollywood.
And in his latest TV interview, former child star Corey Feldman has reiterated his claim that pedophilia is the “number one secret” in Hollywood.
Feldman says that despite the recent turnaround in the movie business in regards to sexual harassment and abuse allegations, he “absolutely” believes child molestation is an epidemic that is plaguing the industry.
The parents of child actors need to be aware of the hidden dangers, Feldman told interviewer Shaun Robinson after the airing of A Tale of Two Coreys, a TV film documenting his relationship with his late friend and colleague Corey Haim.
“Parents should be shaking,” Feldman said. “I don’t have my kid in this industry, what does that tell you?”
Feldman claims he and Haim — his best friend and co-star in some of the biggest teen movies of the 80s — were sexually abused by predators within the movie industry.
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter Feldman also spoke about being “passed around” and molested by adult males in Hollywood
Haim battled drug addiction throughout his life, which Feldman says was the former child star’s way of numbing the pain caused by years of sexual abuse.
Haim fell into bad health, dying of pneumonia in 2010 at the age of 38.
