The Maxim cover Sam Frost didn’t want published goes on sale: ‘It’s made my blood boil’

THE men’s magazine cover Sam Frost never wanted published has gone on sale today, and it’s made her “blood boil”.

THIS is the men’s magazine front cover Sam Frost never wanted published.

The 2DayFM host, 26, has claimed that she was Photoshopped to have darker hair and larger breasts to make it look as though it was a recent shoot.

In February, Frost posed topless for Maxim Australia — a move she later said she regretted, Confidential can reveal.

She said on radio with co-host Rove McManus that the cover of today’s edition “made my blood boil.”

“So, Maxim had their hottest 100 party and with that they gave away December’s magazine to the people that attended which is coming out, I don’t know when it’s coming out but, I’m actually on the front cover,” she said this month.

“For starters, I mentioned last week, that I regretted doing the photo shoot in the first place. I did the photo shoot last December.

“Like I said, wasn’t in a great frame of mind. I wish I didn’t do it in hindsight. It’s all well and good because I had blonde hair, you wouldn’t be able to tell — it’s obvious that they’re old photos.

“But smack bang, right on the front cover, implying that I’ve done a second photo shoot I’ve returned to Maxim, they’ve actually photoshopped my hair dark — because I was blonde and now I’m a brunette.

“They’ve enhanced my boobs, I am quite flat chested and I’m OK with that and brought in my waist and it’s just — I personally feel like it’s a bit disappointing because I don’t look like that — I’m a huge advocate for being a good role model for young girls and just embracing what you look like.

“I don’t have a big chest area and that’s OK and I just feel like they’re kind of exploiting my body, even though they own the photos.”

McManus weighed in on the debate suggesting that the digital enhancements would be upsetting to the former Bachelorette star.

Frost said it wasn’t just the photographs that were published which were made to appear new.

“Even the article that’s inside, again, it’s like ‘she’s returned back to Maxim’,” she said.

“And I haven’t. And I’m not proud of the fact I did that shoot and I’m quite disappointed in myself and it’s a shame that they’ve altered it so much.”

Despite recently named Australia’s fourth hottest woman in Maxim magazine’s infamous Top 100 this year, Frost said she wouldn’t do the cover if she had her time again.

Maxim’s editor in chief Santi Pintado told news.com.au he was “surprised” by Frost’s comments given her enthusiasm for doing the shoot in the first place.

“It’s no secret magazines retouch images. The only thing we’ve done is pretty much darken her hair from the shoot,” Pintado said.

“In terms of enhancements, no. We haven’t really done anything to her at all. It’s basically the hair colour.”

“It’s an extremely positive story — nothing but love for her.”
