SHE’S the most famous woman in the world, but apparently not everyone knows who Kim Kardashian is.

Paris police chief Christian Sainte has admitted he had no idea who the reality star was when he was informed of her armed robbery three weeks ago at the famous Hotel de Pourtalès.

In a Vanity Fairprofile, it’s detailed how Chief Sainte received a telephone call at 3am, alerting him to the high profile robbery.

The night officer told him the victim was Kim Kardashian.

“I asked my number two, ‘Who is this victim?’” Sainte told the publication.

When the night officer didn’t know either, Sainte went to his computer and typed Kardashian’s name into Google.

“I quickly understood who she is,” he told the magazine. “And now I know almost everything about her. The personality of the victim, Kim Kardashian, is not like anyone else. She has a lot of likes on Facebook.”

Kardashian was bound and gagged during the robbery and millions of dollars worth of jewellery were stolen. In the days leading up to the robbery, she had been sharing photos of herself in Paris along with close-ups of her expensive accessories — including a 20 carat diamond ring worth $4 million.

“She’s giving information on social media all the time,” Sainte said, when asked if the gang who carried out the robbery was following her posts. “We can say that there is a professional team that committed this crime and they seem to be organised.”
