Lily Allen reveals hilariously awkward encounter with Princess Diana

LILY Allen has revealed a cringe-worthy encounter she and her younger brother had with none other than the late Princess of Wales.

LILY Allen has recalled an embarrassing moment from childhood, in which her brother Alfie Allen, suffered a horrifying wardrobe malfunction when the pair met Princess Diana in 1992.

The 33-year-old singer wrote about the incident in her new book, My Thoughts Exactly, explaining her brother — aged just five at the time — had an unfortunate incident where he managed to get his genitals trapped in his trouser zip.

The pair met the princess — just five years before her death — at the premiere of film, Hear My Song.

The movie was the first their film producer mother, Alison Owen, had produced and it was up to Lily, aged six at the time, and brother Alfie to present the royal with gifts at the event.

In her book, Lily wrote: “Diana the Princess of Wales came to the premiere. I was a flower girl and gave her a posy, Alfie had a box of handkerchiefs to give her but somehow he got his k*** caught in his trouser zip moments before meeting her.”

According to Lily, Diana noticed Alfie was crying and asked what was wrong.

“He was crying when she approached him,” Lily wrote.

“’Are you OK?’ she asked him.

“’No,’ he replied. ‘I’ve got my willy caught in my zip.’”

Lily didn’t explain what Princess Diana’s reaction was, but we imagine it was a mortifying experience either way for the now Game of Thrones actor.
