The title, cover art and release date for Britney Spears’ bombshell memoir has finally been revealed.

The Woman in Me, which features a black-and-white photo of a topless Spears taken in 2001, will hit bookshelves October 24, reports Page Six.

Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, acquired the highly anticipated book after several publishing houses bid on it.

“Britney’s compelling testimony in open court [about her conservatorship] shook the world, changed laws and showed her inspiring strength and bravery,” Gallery Books senior vice president and publisher Jennifer Bergstrom told People.

“I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year. We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last.”

Britney had her conservatorship terminated in November 2021 after her father, Jamie Spears, controlled her life and finances for 13 years.

The publishing house teased that her memoir “illuminates the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story” on her own terms.

“[‘The Woman in Me’] is a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope,” a press release stated.

Page Six exclusively reported in February 2022 that the Toxic singer had solidified a landmark book deal with Simon & Schuster said to be worth as much as $US15 million.

“The deal is one of the biggest of all time, behind the Obamas,” an insider shared at the time.

The Crossroads actress had apparently been angling to write a memoir ever since her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, wrote a scathing book. Titled Things I Should Have Said, the Zoey 101 star’s highly publicised memoir was released in January 2022.

Britney responded by claiming Jamie Lynn’s book was filled with lies and even called her “scum.”

“Congrats best seller…..The nerve of you to sell a book now and talk s**t but your [sic] f**king lying…..I wish you would take a lie detector test so all these masses of people see you’re lying through your teeth about me !!!!” she wrote via Instagram at the time.

“I wish the almighty, Lord would could come down and show this whole world that you’re lying and making money off of me !!!! You are scum, Jamie Lynn.”

In April, sources told Page Six exclusively that Britney, 41, had completed writing her memoir and that it would “shake the world.”

“Britney’s book is a story of triumph. It will cover her most vulnerable moments, her childhood — being a little girl with big dreams — her break-up with Justin Timberlake, the moment she shaved her head, and her battle with her family over her conservatorship,” one source told us.

“It is also a story of survival, finding her way out of the crippling conservatorship to finding happiness with her husband, Sam Asghari.”

We also revealed Britney had been working with ghostwriter Sam Lansky, an acclaimed novelist and journalist.

Another insider shared that the book would be “a groundbreaking instant bestseller,” adding, “This is an inspiring read, not only because it shows the strength of Britney’s spirit, but because her story is told with such style, wit, intelligence, honesty and without any self-pity.”

Sources close to the singer previously told Page Six that Britney wanted to write a memoir so she could take back ownership of her life story.

“The narrative has been shifted time and time again by the media, the paparazzi, Britney’s exes and even her own family,” one insider noted in February 2022. “After being silenced for almost 14 years, she’s ready to take back her voice, something that never should’ve been taken from her in the first place.”
