Just another one of the million reasons to love Lady Gaga.

While walking the 2023 Oscars red carpet, the Poker Face singer rushed to help a photographer who took a nasty fall right behind her, reports Page Six.

The shutterbug was trying to take a snap of Gaga’s daring Versace look before he lost his footing and slammed into the champagne-coloured carpet.

Gaga immediately stopped her procession.

A shocked Gaga, 36, let out a gasp before running over to help the man as he quickly sprang to his feet.

However, a different camera angle shows more clearly the photographer’s reaction to Gaga’s help - and it’s sparked a fierce debate online about whether or not it was appropriate.

See for yourself:

The man, who is clearly flustered, gives Gaga a quick pat on her lower hip after she stops to help him - and from this camera angle, it looks as though she may have been irritated by the physical touch.

On Twitter, fans couldn’t quite decide:

Gaga’s Top Gun: Maverick theme, Hold My Hand, was nominated for Best Original Song at this year’s ceremony, but lost in the category to Naatu Naatu from RRR.

Gaga stunned in an black ballgown featuring a sheer corsetted top and a full skirt.

She accessorised with Tiffany & Co jewellery, including a vintage diamond choker necklace, a matching bracelet and simple diamond earrings.

Her appearance came as a surprise, given the fact Oscars executive producer and showrunner Glenn Weiss previously claimed Gaga would miss the awards show due to her filming schedule for Joker: Folie à Deux.

While this year’s red carpet proved to be a bit chaotic for the entertainer, she skipped it altogether in 2022 after being snubbed for her performance in House of Gucci.

However, she later made her way to the stage to present the award for Best Picture with Liza Minnelli.
