Dakota Johnson snaps at mum Melanie Griffith over Fifty Shades of Grey role

DAKOTA Johnson has a tense moment with her famous mother Melanie Griffith while the pair were being interviewed on the Oscars red carpet.

IT’S the most-talked about movie of 2015, but one person who refuses to watch Fifty Shades of Grey is Melanie Griffith, and Dakota Johnson is not happy about it.

The famous mother of the actress who stars in the sex-filled film made the shock revelation on the Oscars red carpet, saying she “didn’t need to see it.”

The mother-daughter duo was being interviewed by presenter Lara Spencer when Griffith said of her daughter’s raunchy role: “She’s a really good actress, I don’t need to see that to know how good she is.”

Johnson snapped back, “Alright! You don’t have to see it. Jesus Christ. God ...”

The 25-year-old, who will be presenting an award during the show, opted for a floor-length Saint Laurent red dress with a daring split. She was also draped in 100 carats of Forevermark Diamonds, including a near 30-carat bracelet. A cool $2.2 million worth of gems, to be precise.

In a separate interview, Johnson revealed to a surprised Ryan Seacrest that she kept a certain prop from the Fifty Shades of Grey set — a “flogger”.

Griffith, 57, donned a black, sleeved number, letting her daughter steal the spotlight.
