THERE have been pandas among snowmen and owls disguising cats. Now the latest puzzle to take the internet by storm is an Oscar trophy hidden within a cluster of Star Wars C-3POs.

The gong hunt is the perfect way to get you in the mood for the glamorous Academy Awards ceremony which kicks off on Sunday evening, The Sun reports.

It’s a tricky one though — may the Force be with you in finding it.

The image was posted to picture sharing site imgur where users struggled to spot the hidden statue.

Some joked about the fact the gong is hanging out among Star Wars characters but not at actor Leonardo DiCaprio’s house.

One commented the puzzle is “straight out of Leo’s nightmares”.

The star is gunning for his first ever Oscar this weekend for dramatic film The Revenant, having already notched up several awards for his portrayal of legendary frontiersman Hugh Glass.

The original ‘find the panda’ puzzle was shared more than 100,000 times in just a few days.

Its creator, artist Gergely Dudás, who goes under the Twitter handle Dudolf, said: “The popularity of the ‘panda’ picture amazed me, I still can’t believe it, but it makes me really happy!

“Glad to see how people like something I made.”
