Sophie Monk steals spotlight in gorgeous gold gown at 2019 Logies
Trust Sophie Monk to upstage everyone at the Logies, the star looking every bit the golden glamour girl in a daring gown.
Sophie Monk has cemented her status as Australia’s golden girl with one of the most extra Logies looks ever.
The TV star has dressed as a real life TV Week Logie award, upstaging actual nominees in a strapless metallic gold gown fit with a lengthy train at the 61st annual event, which is being held on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
The 39-year-old Love Island host turned heads when she hit the red carpet in the Jason Grech designed masterpiece, with social media fans declaring Monk “just killed us all”.
“If you can’t win a gold Logie … dress as one,” she captioned her Instagram photo, which showed her posing at The Star Gold Coast.

How she managed to make her dress parachute like that we can’t explain, but we’re making formal inquiries.
Monk teamed her to-die-for gown with gold platform heels and silver jewellery, while styling her long blonde hair in beachy waves and sporting an intense smoky eye.
Her long list of celebrity friends took to Instagram to comment how “amazing” Monk looked, with Imogen Anthony writing: “wow @sophiemonk baaaaaabbbeeee you have KILLED IT!!!!”, while Gabi Grecko said: “Omg. You just killed us all”.
Monk’s boyfriend, Joshua Gross, who she met on a flight last year, filmed his girlfriend as she glammed up for TV’s big night, captioning a video of her getting ready with: “perfection”.
The former Bachelorette announced last month Gross would be moving from his home in Los Angeles to the Gold Coast so the loved-up pair could be together full time.
Monk and her Bachelorette pick Stu Laundy announced in January last year they were parting ways, only a few months after the finale aired.
Monk said she gave the relationship her “best shot” but it “just didn’t work out” because the two were “very different people”.
The Logies red carpet arrivals show (hosted by Sylvia Jeffreys, Leila McKinnon and David Campbell) will air on Channel 9 at 7pm with the live broadcast kicking off at 7.30pm.
