GOLD Logie winner Karl Stefanovic admits he pulled a few mid-air antics while dashing back to Melbourne from the royal wedding.

Gold Logie winner Karl Stefanovic yesterday admitted he pulled quite a few mid-air antics while dashing back to Melbourne from the royal wedding.

The Today host said he was dared by fellow Nine reporter Ben Fordham to "do a (Duchess of York) Sarah Ferguson" and lick as many peoples' toes as he could - with $100 per toe as incentive.

He managed to lick Fordham's foot before being sprung.

"I'm a bit of a rascal. I think I got his and that was it because everyone else was awake, awake to my shenanigans," laughed Stefanovic.

He also said his Gold Logie win still had not sunk in.

Meanwhile Stefanovic became the latest in a long line of Logie winners to have misplaced his Logie.

He was slightly tired and emotional after winning Silver for most popular presenter but then lost the gong somewhere in the room at the Crown's Paladium.

Yesterday Nine assured us the "trophy", as Stefanovic's kids call it, had finally been found.
