Grammy Awards 2016: Celebrity fashion dazzles the red carpet
FROM a trimmer Adele to a sizzling Taylor Swift, catch up on all the fashion hits as A-listers descended on the Grammys red carpet for music’s biggest night.
A-LISTERS have stepped out in star-studded style for music’s biggest night of the year.
The 58th annual Grammy Awards red carpet kicked off at 10am AEDT, as award favourites such as Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar — who has a whopping 11 nominations — were set to shine.

Lady Gaga, always full of surprises, showed up with flaming orange hair, bright eye make-up and a blue suit-style space-themed dress that would be sure to make David Bowie proud ahead of her tribute performance.
Justin Bieber showed his adorable side as he arrived sutied up with his cutie-pie of a little half-brother, Jaxon. Beliebers around the world are bound to go bonkers over this photo.
Adele arrived ready to take the stage with a friendly red carpet wave. James Bay, the Hold Back The River singer, looked dapper in a suit and fedora.
The Weeknd and his gorgeous model girlfriend Bella Hadid proved themselves to be the hottest young power couple in showbiz.

Swift arrived sporting a banging new bob with gal pal Selena Gomez. All eyes were on the pop princess’s hot tube top and pink high-waisted skirt showing off those famous pins, while Gomez wowed in a plunging, glittery blue gown.
Electronic music maestros Skrillex and Diplo snuck a selfie together.
Ciara was banging in an ultra-revealing dress, while Ariana Grande opted for a classic red floor-length gown.
Alessandra Ambrosio had a feline look about her. Demi Lovato went chic.
Florence and the Machine’s Florence Welch wore a dreamy pink number, and Dave Grohl was his usual lovely self.
British songstress Ellie Goulding, who is on tonight’s performance line-up, wore a stunning, pale backless gown.
Country music star and proud mum Carrie Underwood went back to black and said it had been nearly a decade since her first Grammy Awards.
Rapper Wiz Khalifa played it cool in his novel tux. Actress Anna Kendrick wore a modest black frock.
Johnny Depp went for a more demure rock look with The Hollywood Vampires bandmates Joe Perry and Alice Cooper.
Australia’s indie rock darling Courtney Barnett, who has her hopes set on the Best New Artist award, was spotted on the red carpet.
Aussie four-piece Tame Impala also rocked up, with their eyes on the Best Alternative Music Album prize.

West Australian super model Nicole Trunfio arrived donning a glamorour silver-grey sheer jumpsuit.
Fashion-wise, anything goes at the Grammys. Choices for early arrivals to Monday’s ceremony ranged from tuxedos to gowns to jeans and sneakers.
Grammy nominees were really feeling the heat at this year’s awards show, and not just from the competition. It was 31C on the red carpet.
Some folks were walking into the carpet tent with faces glistening from sweat after getting out of limos and waiting in the hot sun to go through security. Ladies were discreetly pulling powder puffs out of clutches to pat the sheen away.
Lady Gaga will perform a special tribute to pop legend David Bowie, who lost his battle to cancer last month. She posted a video of herself in tears as she got her make-up ready.
TV personality Ryan Seacrest posted a cheeky tweet to LL Cool J, who is hosting this year’s ceremony, after the pair wound up wearing the same suit at the 2015 gala.

Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco was pictured getting ready with her “Grammy squad”.
Vocal powerhouse Adele will perform at the Los Angeles Staples Centre along with other hitmakers Rihanna, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and Swift who will open the show.

A slew of awards have already been dished out in the Grammys pre-telecast, with The Weeknd, Skrillex, Swift just some of the early winners.
Swift has already given a stellar acceptance speech when she got the first award of the night for her best-selling 1989 album.
She wasn’t in the audience but guitarist Jack Antonoff, who worked as a producer on the record, called her on the phone as he picked up her trophy.
“What?! We won! We won pop vocal album,” she shouted.
She later also won Best Music Video for Bad Blood and shot a backstage vide of Selena Gomez’s reaction.
