Frenzal Rhomb's foul-mouthed anti ARIAs tirade
FRENZAL RHOMB let loose with a foul-mouthed twitter tirade about the ARIAs on Sunday night, saying they'd rather 'get AIDS than watch that again'.
AUSTRALIAN band Frenzal Rhomb let loose with a foul-mouthed twitter tirade about the ARIAs on Sunday night.
For more than three hours, they vented online about Aussie music's night of nights, directing most of their anger at Guy Sebastian and the official ARIA twitter account.
Some of their tweets included:
Sorry, you're called the "Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards"? Please have more American guest stars ... f***heads.
OHHHHH, you got the guy from @Novafm95 to present an award. That's some finger on the pulse s*** ... bravo.
@GuySebastian Well done, you are the best live act our County has ever seen. James Reyne and Bon Scott will be f***ing stoked.
Congratulations "some band no c*** gives a rat's a*** about". Enjoy your 15 minutes ... have fun trying to book shows in 20 years.
@ARIA_Official A dude from a f***ing tv talent comp? Really? Do you f***wits even go to gigs?
Hot f***en diggety damn, the state of music today makes us almost miss @powderfinger_au. Almost.
@ARIA_Official Seriously though, great show, well done. *would rather get aids than watch again*
@ARIA_Official @MarqueeSydney @GuySebastian is gunna do too much ecstasy and try and pash @DanniiMinogue. Just a heads up.
@GuySebastian Don't OD at the after party dog. We went to a bunch of those things back in the day, and they're full of "undesirables".
The band, which has been around for more than 20 years, had a mini surge in online popularity after their outburst, picking up almost new 200 twitter followers.
News.com.au has reached out to Frenzal Rhomb's touring company Blue Murder for a comment and is awaiting a response.
