Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew’s awkward snubs on The Emmy Awards red carpet

EDWINA Bartholomew’s awkward celebrity snubs overshadowed her actual red carpet interviews at the Emmys this year.

SUNRISE has publicised Edwina Bartholomew’s awkward celebrity snubs on the Emmys red carpet as the Aussie reporter tried desperately to wrangle talent herself in LA.

Celebrities Jane Fonda, James Corden, Zoe Kravitz, Claire Foy, Elizabeth Moss, John Lithgow, Gillian Anderson, Susan Sarandon and Liev Schreiber all gave Bartholomew the cold shoulder.

“It was absolute mayhem, it was absolute chaos on the red carpet yesterday and we really learnt the hard way, it’s not what you know it’s certainly who you know in Hollywood,” she said this morning.

Actor John Lithgow snubbed the Sunrise star.

“Here’s a compilation of my very best snubs from the red carpet.”

The video showed eight Hollywood A-listers saying “no”, “sorry” and even “what” as they walked past the blonde host.

“Susan can we have a quick chat for Australian TV. You’re up against our Nicole (Kidman),” Bartholomew was heard saying.

“One of my best, one of my best snubs! Thanks Susan.”

Eddie gets snubbed from several stars.

Schreiber, 48, who attended the awards with his son Sasha, shrugged off Bartholomew after her bizarre attempt to pin the star down.

“Hey Liev, can we have a quick chat for Aussie TV?” she is heard calling out.

“I think your son’s half Australian!”

Bartholomew said it was “desperate times” on the prestigious red carpet.

“Desperate times, calls for desperate measures guys. We tried our very, very, very best,” she told viewers.

Host Samantha Armytage suggested to keep note of the stars, who didn’t stop to chat.

“Should we write those names down and remember for next time they put movies out whether the Australian audience will go and watch them?” she added.

“Now that you need it — here you are.”

Armytage said Sarandon was her “worst interview ever” but didn’t elaborate on what happened.
