Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have hit the red carpet outside the Microsoft Theatre in LA for the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards.

Fleabag, Ozark and Chernobyl have proven the big winners this year - but before any statues were handed out, all eyes were on the red (actually, technically it’s purple) carpet.

This Is Us star and first-time Emmy nominee Mandy Moore looked incredible in a surprisingly daring gown.

(Hopefully she remembered to pack Hollywood Tape).

Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage — better known as the friendliest Lannister, Tyrion — rocked up with his wife of 14 years, Erica Schmidt.

Lead Actress in a Drama Series nominee Emilia Clarke channelled everyone’s favourite red carpet muse, J.Lo.

But her co-star Gwendoline Christie, aka Brienne of Tarth, made the rare choice to take style inspiration from Jesus.

Meanwhile, the Starks reunited on the Emmys red carpet for the last time.

Our Queen in the North and Supporting Actress in a Drama nominee, Sophie Turner, was regal as always in a stunning pale satin gown.

Orange Is The New Black’s Dascha Polanco wisely opted to add floaties to her elegant white dress, in case of a swimming emergency.

Best Supporting Actress nominee Betty Gilpin was Glow-ing — sorry — in a show-stopping sequinned navy tulle dress.

The Loudest Voice star Naomi Watts’ glamorous black ball gown is another standout.

Hoping for a back-to-back win in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy category is Rachel Brosnahan from The Marvellous Mrs Maisel, who’s not quite nailed her red carpet pose yet.

Vera Farmiga — nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category in a Limited Series/Movie for her role in When They See Us — was wearing something that looked like an exact cross between a Wife and Handmaid’s dress... and it works.
